I like using glass because the craft stuff doesn't fog up the sides and it teaches my daughter to be gentle with her toys. Kidney shaped Activity Table

The shape of this craft table makes it easy for more than one toddler to share with plenty of room to spread out on the easy to clean laminate top. I see a lot of craft tables for kids with plastic tops and I really don't get it. Plastic is porous and in order to clean finger paint off of it you'll have to resort to powerful cleaners. Customizable cardboard cot

I'm stumped on this one. Almost $300 for a cardboard baby bed. Well, a box, really with a mattress in it. It actually looks cool, and the pictures are so pretty I'm almost convinced. And I love that on the site they tout it as "customizable". What cardboard box isn't? Comes flat-packed though - that's a plus. Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Radiohead

I attended a baby shower over the weekend where this was given as a gift. Awesome. But I have to admit I also thought, what's wrong with plain ol' Radiohead? Why would it need to be reinterpreted for babies to also enjoy? Then I heard it and my heart skipped a beat. The glockenspiel making the tinkling noises synonymous with nursery music colliding with the rock music of my adolescence is almost too much to bear. A baby couldn't appreciate this. I absolutely love John Robshaw's Baby Bedding Collection. It could work in a boy's room or in a girl's room because it is just beautiful. There is nothing about it that is gender specific. The fabric is rich and pretty and any crib with these colors will be warm and soothing. After baby outgrew the linens I would want to repurpose all of the fabric; turning it all into pillows or a small quilt for the "big kid" bed, because I just wouldn't want to see it go. - Stephanie S.
