Originally published in 1930, The Little Engine That Could has become an almost trite story in a lot of ways. I picked up an original edition at a used book store the other day and was blown away. The illustrations are gorgeous. The message of perseverence is clear and strong, and embedded in a wonderful story. As many times as we have all heard this story, I encourage you to take another look, I am sure you'll like it and I have no doubt that another generation will embrace it as well. - Stephanie S.
