Much to our delight, photographer Gina Garan, of This is Blythe fame, has designed ginagirls, the latest dolls for the hippest collectors, in collaboration with the well-known Australian artist Christina Gordon.
The first all plush fashion dolls in doll history, ginagirls are reminiscent of 1960s paper dolls, and children painted by the 60's big-eye artist known as Lee. Notable for their mod 60's-influenced clothing, ambivalent expressions, and stylish hairdos, ginagirls would not be out of place next to other legendary fashion dolls such as AltaModa Furga, Twiggy, and of course Blythe.
