This set is a great way to teach your kids about cooking. My daughter has two cabinets at "kid level" full of plastic bowls, spoons and other things she likes to bang around the kitchen floor. I think this set will make a great addition to her section of the kitchen. The cookie cutters will have to be put in a higher drawer until she is a little older, but the cake pan and rolling pin will be a perfect drum set! - Stephanie R
